Ross falls in line with the other bigger brands that are used in “real” productions like Grass, Sony etc. Nothing against people who use them a ton, but I’ve noticed a lot of people who work mainly on them seem to brush the issues off as normal. OTOH if you are selling sponsored elements based on things running from the switcher it functioning perfectly every time may very well be worth the money. Im a stadium if there is another control system between you and the boards, you may not consider this a big deal if you can just dump to a graphic when issues arise. It’s also not uncommon to see freezes, glitches, significant panel lag (press a button and the action takes sometimes multiple seconds to happen).
